Solution Architect

About the position

The Solution Architecture role focuses on Corporate Functions, requiring proven experience in the design and implementation of Human Resource systems such as Workday and Cornerstone, as well as Oracle ERP on the Oracle OCI platform. The position involves consolidating financial statements for SEC reporting, conducting cost allocations to identify profitability across business units, and managing strategic planning and budgeting processes. The role also includes designing and architecting HR and Finance platforms that align with client business objectives and technology roadmaps, translating complex requirements into architectural blueprints, and ensuring proficiency with databases and data pipelines. The candidate will also be responsible for cloud architecture and security across various platforms, performing cybersecurity risk assessments, and creating logical architecture diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment.
• Communicate monthly updates and produce presentations to senior management on strategic matters.
• Consult with the Enterprise Architecture team on systems design and implementation.
• Develop project scopes and business cases that align with business and IT strategies.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Guide improvements in tools and capabilities to support the Enterprise Architecture strategy.
• Manage strategic accounts and relationships for the Enterprise Architecture department.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of Information Technology solutions.
• Train, mentor, and coach colleagues and subordinates as needed.
• Act as a liaison between Business Units and Consumer Banking IT throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the design and implementation of Human Resource systems such as Workday and Cornerstone.
• Experience with Oracle ERP on Oracle OCI platform.
• Strong analytical skills for financial statements and cost allocations.
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with Restful APIs, API-led design, and Event Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Cloud Architecture & Security (AWS, Oracle OCI, Azure).
• Ability to perform cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
• Familiarity with management reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in developing blueprints and roadmaps for Enterprise Architecture.

• Competitive salary range of $140,000-$160,000 a year.
