Solution Architect

About the position

The position focuses on Solution Architecture with a specialization in Fraud Prevention. The candidate will be expected to have expertise in various Fraud Prevention and Detection tools, particularly in banking systems. The role involves implementing tools such as CrossCore, FraudNet, PreciseID, and others, as well as working with RESTful APIs, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity concepts. The candidate will also need to perform cybersecurity risk assessments and have a strong understanding of banking and fraud functional concepts across various areas including cards, loans, and payments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business owners are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment.
• Communicate monthly updates and produce presentations to senior management on strategic matters.
• Consult with the Enterprise Architecture team on systems design and implementation.
• Develop project scopes and business cases that align with business and IT strategies.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Guide improvements in tools and capabilities to support the Enterprise Architecture strategy.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of Information Technology solutions.
• Train, mentor, and coach colleagues and subordinates as needed.
• Act as a liaison between Business Units and Consumer Banking IT throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Expertise in Fraud Prevention and Fraud Detection tools and workflows.
• Experience with tools such as CrossCore, FraudNet, PreciseID, and others.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, API-led design, and Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience with Cloud Architecture & Security, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including MFA, encryption standards, and device biometrics.
• Ability to perform cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Understanding of banking and fraud functional concepts in areas like cards, loans, and payments.
• Experience in integration design and creating architecture diagrams.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $140,000-$160,000 a year.
