About The Position

Lee Enterprises is seeking a Solutions Architect / Lead Developer to drive the company's technology strategy and execution. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions while leading development teams. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, oversee the development lifecycle, and possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or Ruby.
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with back-end development and frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Spring, or .NET.
• Understanding of database systems, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with serverless computing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Lead Developer, or similar role.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions.
• Lead development teams in the implementation of software projects.
