About the position

The Solutions Consultant at GoTo plays a crucial role in the sales process by serving as the technical point of contact for prospects. This position involves conducting customized demonstrations, providing technical training, and managing pilots and pre-sales technical qualifications. The consultant will assist prospects with technical inquiries, support software configuration, and troubleshoot challenges, all while ensuring a clear understanding of customer needs and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support prospects as the technical point of contact during the sales cycle.
• Run customized demonstrations and provide technical training.
• Play a key role in RFI/RFPs, pilots, and pre-sales technical qualification.
• Assist prospects with their technical questions and support the software configuration process.
• Conduct initial troubleshooting steps to help diagnose and resolve challenges efficiently.
• Define and manage pilots/POCs by documenting business objectives, product requirements, and success criteria.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, online meetings, and potentially onsite visits for presentations and training workshops.

Requirements

• Proven ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to develop a solid understanding of customers' operational, IT architecture, security, and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with Enterprise environments and protocols such as SAML, RADIUS, LDAP, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
• Experience with directory services like Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Okta, OneLogin, G-Suite, and Ping Identity.
• Knowledge of enterprise software deployment via cloud services and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
