About the position

The Spa Curator at The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe is responsible for managing spa services for individuals and large groups, ensuring a seamless experience for guests. This role involves scheduling appointments, confirming services, and providing information about spa offerings. The Spa Curator also promotes and sells spa services and retail items, handles payments, and maintains a professional environment while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa reservation software.
• Call guests to confirm scheduled services.
• Respond to inquiries about available services.
• Update reservation lists and inform providers of last-minute changes.
• Check guests in for appointments and provide general guidance about the spa.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services.
• Restock and maintain retail items, promoting additional sales.
• Process guest payments for spa services and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Communicate cleaning, engineering, and maintenance needs to relevant departments.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company policies.
• Welcome and assist all guests according to company standards.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
