About The Position

The Spacecraft Engineer - Command Data Handling position at Maxar Intelligence involves supporting the health, safety, and performance optimization of the Earth Intelligence spacecraft constellation. The role includes assisting in anomaly resolution and contributing to the design, development, integration, and testing of next-generation spacecraft. The engineer will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including ground system engineers and software engineers, particularly in the context of transitioning to a new cloud-based ground system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in spacecraft systems engineering or related roles.
• Knowledge of command and data handling subsystems.
• Familiarity with spacecraft operations and performance optimization.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
