About The Position

The Auditor position at KLS Logistics is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of product handling for both inbound and outbound freight. This role involves checking for damages, verifying product counts against manifests, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications. The Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining warehouse safety and security while participating in physical inventories and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must meet material handling equipment certification requirements.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count all inbound product and compare to manifest.
• Check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storage.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signature for outbound merchandise as needed.
• Check contents of outbound freight for accuracy and completeness.
• Safely operate forklift or other materials handling equipment as required.
• Assist in loading or unloading merchandise in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security and promote safety during operations.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
