About the position

The Dishwasher position at Menlo Circus Club involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas. The role is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, pots/pans, glassware, and all kitchen areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish-washing machine, hand wash stations, and pot-scrubbing station.
• Follow weekly kitchen cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
• Dispose of glass and trash in the proper containers.
• Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One (1) year experience in the cleaning industry preferred.
• Ability to hear, understand, and speak basic English preferred.
• Must have the ability to work in the US unrestricted.
