About The Position

The Financial Controller will act as a strategic partner to the executive team, managing all accounting and financial activities to ensure optimal financial efficiency and transparency at Barsys. This role involves overseeing the accounting department, financial reporting, and cash management, while providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations within a high-growth environment and a deep understanding of complex accounting principles.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller (Preferred)
• 3 years of experience in a high-growth startup (Preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP (5 years Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and management reports.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Conduct detailed variance analyses and present key insights to senior management.
• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements for multi-entity operations.
