About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dental procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for all patients.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with endodontics and infection control practices.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
  • Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients about their treatment plans.
  • Previous experience using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
  • Administer appropriate treatments, including root canal therapy, extractions, and restorative procedures.
  • Utilize medical imaging technologies to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain patient records accurately using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Educate patients on preventive care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
