Wire Assembler

About the position

The Wire Assembler position at a large space technology company involves assembling microelectronic components in a clean room environment. The role requires the use of various tools and equipment to perform specific assembly tasks according to established specifications and procedures. The technician will work primarily under a microscope to ensure precision in the assembly of delicate components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specification, processes and procedures in a Clean room Environment
• Perform epoxy and die eutectic attachment
• Perform epoxy and substrate eutectic attachment
• Perform ribbon and wire bonding processes on a variety of machines
• Perform mechanical assembly utilizing hand tools and equipment
• Work under a microscope for 6 to 8 hours a day assembling microelectronics in a clean room environment
• Collaborate with a team to deliver quality products on time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• 2 years of Mechanical Assembly experience (Preferred)
• 2 years of Cleanroom experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Die Attach experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Wirebonding experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Ribbon Bonding experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Eutectic Attach experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Substrate Attach experience (Preferred)
