About the position
The Wire Assembler position at a large space technology company involves assembling microelectronic components in a clean room environment. The role requires the use of various tools and equipment to perform specific assembly tasks according to established specifications and procedures. The technician will work primarily under a microscope to ensure precision in the assembly of delicate components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specification, processes and procedures in a Clean room Environment
- Perform epoxy and die eutectic attachment
- Perform epoxy and substrate eutectic attachment
- Perform ribbon and wire bonding processes on a variety of machines
- Perform mechanical assembly utilizing hand tools and equipment
- Work under a microscope for 6 to 8 hours a day assembling microelectronics in a clean room environment
- Collaborate with a team to deliver quality products on time
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- 2 years of Mechanical Assembly experience (Preferred)
- 2 years of Cleanroom experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Die Attach experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Wirebonding experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Ribbon Bonding experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Eutectic Attach experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of Substrate Attach experience (Preferred)
