About the position

The Special Education Preschool Teacher will be responsible for providing high-quality educational experiences for preschool-aged children with special needs. This role involves creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. The teacher will work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure that each child receives the support they need to thrive in a preschool environment. In addition to direct instruction, the Special Education Preschool Teacher will assess students' progress and adjust educational strategies accordingly. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development. Requirements

  • Valid California Early Childhood Special Education Credential
  • Authorization to instruct in self-contained preschool classes
  • Autism authorization
