Special Events - Security Officer

About the position

Security First is seeking dedicated security officers to join our team for special events taking place from Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety and security of attendees at various events. As a security officer, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises, checking credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to deter any potential issues. You will work closely with event organizers and other staff to ensure a smooth and secure experience for all participants. This role may lead to a permanent position for those who demonstrate reliability and professionalism during the event.

Responsibilities

• Monitor event premises to ensure safety and security.
• Check credentials of attendees and staff.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
• Collaborate with event organizers and other security personnel.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid guard card.
• Entry-level position, no prior experience required.
