About the position

The Specialist 2 - Operations role at Johnson & Johnson involves managing inventory transactions across multiple SAP platforms to ensure inventory accuracy during new product cycles. The position requires collaboration with various teams to support new product introductions and supply chain activities, while also leading improvement projects and enhancing analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory movement transactions of finished goods, bulk, intermediates, API, or packaging components across multiple SAP platforms to support inventory accuracy for new product cycles.
  • Lead improvement projects or participate in critical issue discussions.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support new product introduction requirements and supply chain activities.
  • Track and report metrics such as OTIF, SLOB, inventory targets, and stock outs in support of the External Planning team.
  • Assess and develop enhanced analytical capabilities for streamlined metric reporting.
  • Collaborate with various teams including E2E-planners, finance, procurement, and IT to support supply plans for new launches.
  • Ensure processes and systems are in place to support new product launches.
  • Serve as a role model for decision-making based on company values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's/University Degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Planning, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related function.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel with strong analytical skills, including the ability to create V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence and negotiation.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Clear understanding of external Supply Chain trends and ability to derive business insights.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with analytical tools, scenario analysis, and sales and operations planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry experience in Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical sectors.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
