About the position

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Golang Teamcenter libraries and NX ufunc libraries.
• Manage and enhance microservices within the technology stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with web applications.
• Guide and mentor a small group of developers on various projects.
• Maintain self-driven or time-driven projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and microservices.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and efficient backend systems.
• Advocate for best design practices based on defined requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in software development with a focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue, or equivalent languages.
• Familiarity with PLM tools and CAD/CAM systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team and share knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Existing DoD Security Clearance of Secret or above.
• Understanding of differences in PDM and complex PLM philosophies.
• Experience with integrating disparate tools into a PLM suite.
• Utilization of and development for Teamcenter RAC with Active Workspace experience.
• Experience with large data migrations/transforms.
• Aptitude in working with infrastructure/architecture across various virtualization platforms.
• Comfort in uncharted digital territories with results delivery.
