About the position

As a Specialist Engineer in Avionics, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for our cutting-edge aerospace projects. This position requires a deep understanding of avionics technologies, including flight control systems, navigation systems, and communication systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all avionics components meet stringent safety and performance standards. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues that arise during the development and testing phases of our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses of avionics systems, performing simulations, and validating system performance against specifications. You will also be involved in the documentation of design processes and the preparation of technical reports. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial as you present findings and recommendations to project managers and clients. The Specialist Engineer will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop avionics systems for aerospace applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in avionics system design and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of flight control systems, navigation systems, and communication systems.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools and software for avionics analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with software development for avionics systems.
  • Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-254 standards.
  • Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
