About the position

This position will be responsible for MIS buildout and implementation activities to ensure that required system and services are delivered on project schedule and budget. Responsible for development of relevant procedures, training, rollout of materials focused processes within FMIS. Liaison to services provided by Materials and closely related divisions of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and coordinate SMS activities as directed.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance, and integration of the SMS throughout Frontier.
  • Identify hazards and safety risk assessments including change management.
  • Ensure effectiveness of safety risk controls.
  • Promote safety.
  • Advise the accountable executive on the performance of the SMS and on any need for improvement.
  • Accountable for achieving safety performance relative to job tasks.
  • Manage risk acceptable level: Yellow or lower as defined by Frontier's company risk matrix.
  • Ensure fleet material and service requirements are communicated, understood, and executed throughout the Material Management System.
  • Monitor specific activities in the overall Material operation to ensure the transactional requirements are implemented to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Establish performance objectives for Material Operations MIS training to ensure policies and procedures are understood and observed in all transactions.
  • Assist in the establishment of training plan and monitor execution and documentation of both required and ad hoc training courses.
  • Implement sound inventory control processes such as cycle-counts and periodic focused audits to measure inventory accuracy.
  • Train, develop and manage and roll out to all materials divisions, to ensure seamless transition and improvement in Supply Chain processes and training of assigned personnel.
  • Develop and manage assigned staff of Material Services Managers, Inventory Analysts, and Material Services analysts in the efficient accomplishment of their daily activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Aerospace Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of significant supply chain experience.
  • Minimum 5 years multi-function team leadership experience and proven cross-department project management experience.
  • MRO contract development and administration experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with IMS buildout and implementation highly regarded.
  • Preferred to have at least 4 years' experience working within various MIS platforms including AMOS/Trax.
