About the position

This position will be responsible for MIS buildout and implementation activities to ensure that required system and services are delivered on project schedule and budget. Responsible for development of relevant procedures, training, rollout of materials focused processes within FMIS. Liaison to the maintenance, engineering, records, and other compliance departments within Frontier Airlines.

Responsibilities

  • Data migration of the Technical Operations data related to Frontier Maintenance Planning, and long-term Planning.
  • Data enhancement of the Technical Operations data related to Frontier Maintenance Planning, and long-term Planning.
  • Assist in the Automation of Aircraft planning systems.
  • Testing of all Planning functions in a new FMIS system.
  • Writing processes and procedures for all Planning teams for a new FMIS system.
  • Assist in the development of training for a new FMIS system for all Planning groups.
  • Test loading of the OEM manuals for the Planning groups in a new FMIS system.
  • Assist in the retention of work order data for a E-Task Card system.
  • Assist in the creation of a digital signature system.
  • Assist other groups with interfacing parts of the system as needed.
  • Testing of all parts of the system.
  • Other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Preferred or experience equivalent FAA-certified mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • 5 years' of experience performing aircraft maintenance Planning.
  • 5 years' experience in a maintenance information system. (Trax, AMOS, MXI)
  • Extensive knowledge of Maintenance Planning practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulation for a part 121 carrier.
