About the position

As a Specialist in HR at Southwire Company, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources functions within our Carrollton, GA plant. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organization. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to address employee concerns, facilitate training programs, and promote professional development opportunities. You will also be tasked with managing employee relations, conducting performance evaluations, and assisting in the recruitment process to attract top talent to our team. In addition to your core HR responsibilities, you will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. This includes analyzing HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, as well as developing initiatives that align with our company’s goals and values. You will work closely with management to ensure that our HR practices support the business objectives and enhance the overall employee experience. Your ability to balance stakeholder needs while maintaining a customer-focused approach will be essential in this role. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Familiarity with employee engagement strategies.
