About the position

The Workday Analyst position at Marsh McLennan focuses on the Recruiting and Compensation modules within the Corporate Information Systems HR Applications Team. The role involves implementing new functionalities, maintaining the Workday system, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance talent acquisition and compensation management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain the Workday system, specifically the Recruiting and Compensation modules.
  • Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and enhancements.
  • Design and implement recruiting and compensation processes, workflows, and rules within the Workday system.
  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system issues, working closely with end-users to resolve problems.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the Recruiting and Compensation modules with other HR systems.
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, assisting with testing, documentation, and change management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Workday Analyst, focusing on the Recruiting and Compensation modules.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Workday functionality, business process framework, configuration, calculated fields, and best practices.
  • Experience with system implementation, configuration, and support, preferably in a large-scale organization.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics, including the ability to create and customize reports and dashboards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other Recruiting applications, such as Phenom is also desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
