About the position

The Specialist, Program Finance at L3Harris Technologies is responsible for supporting the financial management and analysis of assigned programs within the Reconnaissance Mission Systems Business. This role involves collaborating with program management teams to assess financial positions, prepare customer financial reports, and conduct variance analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and activate assigned projects, service orders, and production work orders in the ERP system.
• Monitor and analyze program costs, performing financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract, and ODC estimates against budget and forecast.
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge programs by collaborating with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
• Provide inputs for the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasting process.
• Perform variance analysis to forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit, and Cash), identifying specific drivers of deviations from estimates.
• Review weekly labor/material charges and perform necessary cost transfers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience in the Defense Industry.
• Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.) in program development and execution.
• Experience supporting contractual Earned Value Management System (EVMS) programs.
• Experience with multiple contract types (Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time & Materials).
