About the position

The Social Content Creator Specialist is responsible for developing engaging content for various social media platforms and email marketing. This role involves collaboration with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand standards and is effectively distributed. The specialist will analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies and will manage the production of high-quality video content while staying updated on social media trends.

Responsibilities

  • Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for platforms like Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Publish posts according to the established content calendar.
  • Ensure content creation aligns with best practices and brand voice.
  • Create shot lists for video capture to ensure efficient filming.
  • Utilize project management systems to post work for review.
  • Partner with analytics to refine content strategies for engagement optimization.
  • Coordinate with store managers and property owners for permissions and scheduling of content shoots.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content that aligns with brand voice and social media trends.
  • Stay updated on social creator trends and recommend tools to enhance social creative.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in social media for a large brand or agency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Clear understanding of social performance metrics and KPIs, with knowledge of analytics tools like Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with DSLR cameras and drone equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Creative writing skills with exceptional storytelling ability.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Strong hands-on web production skills.
