About The Position
The position is responsible for completing a variety of tasks designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral motor control for speech production, vocalization, and the use of assistive technology devices for communication. The role involves supporting the provision of Speech Therapy services to patients under established practice guidelines, assisting with patient screenings and assessments, and following documented treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist. Additionally, the position requires maintaining a safe and clean work area, documenting patient performance, and communicating with caregivers and family members regarding treatment plans.
