About the position
The Speech Language Pathologist at Signature HealthCARE of Carrollton Rehab & Wellness Center plays a crucial role in providing rehabilitative care to residents and patients. This position focuses on ensuring a full recovery and timely return to activities for individuals through integrated care with other clinical caregivers. The role is part-time or PRN, offering flexibility in scheduling and competitive wages.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to residents and patients.
- Collaborate with other clinical caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assess and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and families on speech and language disorders.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech, hearing science, and language development with a minimum of a master's degree.
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
- Current Clinical Competence Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
