About the position

The SQL Developer role at IDR offers an exciting opportunity to support a state-of-the-art data platform, focusing on various data domains including Education and Human Services. The position emphasizes data manipulation, query optimization, and continuous integration within a dynamic, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Support the client's data platform, following the complete data lifecycle from ingestion to presentation
• Utilize Python scripting for data manipulation and processing
• Optimize SQL queries and prepare backend data for integration with frontend tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Work with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools and practices
• Familiarize with ETL/ELT processes; knowledge of Informatica is a plus
• Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery and Dataflow

Requirements

• Proficient in Python scripting (4-6 Years)
• Strong skills in SQL query optimization (4-6 Years)
• Experience as an SQL Developer (4-6 Years)
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools and practices (1-3 Years)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes; Informatica is a plus (4-6 Years)
• Proficiency in using GCP services, particularly BigQuery and Dataflow (1-3 years)
