About the position

The Sr. Account Executive for National Security at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for driving growth and shaping the future of the business within the Intelligence Community, specifically focusing on GEOINT. This role involves establishing and managing partner programs, developing business strategies, and engaging with customers and prime contractors to enhance adoption of AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with national security executives and mission owners to understand their mission requirements.
  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
  • Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans.
  • 5+ years experience in the geospatial, aerospace, or satellite Industry.
