About the position

The Senior Accountant will join the Artist Management division at Live Nation Entertainment, providing essential accounting and finance support to multiple artist management companies. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing month-end close entries, financial schedules, reconciliations, and variance analysis, as well as assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong relationships with field accountants.

Responsibilities

• Record monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortizations
• Prepare various month end balance sheet and income statement support schedules
• Prepare monthly rebills and settle intercompany balances
• Prepare calculations for participations/commission settlements
• Prepare annual budgets and maintain forecast updates for respective artist management companies
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
• 3-5 years accounting experience
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Oracle BPC experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Multi-task oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organization skills
