As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for Seat Structures at Lear Corporation, you will play a crucial role in developing manufacturing processes and related equipment for new seating structures. Your responsibilities will encompass automation, welding, assembly, and riveting processes. You will be involved in cost estimation for new and modified business quoting, launching new equipment for products, and planning automation and industrialization. Additionally, you will develop and maintain budgets and timelines, prepare RFQs (requests for quotation), evaluate responses, and provide recommendations. Collaboration with Quality and Plant engineers to develop PFMEA, work instructions, and control plans will also be part of your role. You are expected to conceptualize and define processes while managing integrators, and you should be willing and able to travel as development and launch schedules dictate.
