About the position

As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you'll work at our Tucson, Arizona location. In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology guide. Responsibilities

  • Guide and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Root Cause Corrective Action Experience
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence in manufacturing operations
  • Strong guidance and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong thoughtful and data-driven mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment
  • Strong project management skills
