About the position

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A, you will play an instrumental role in the analysis and reporting of LPL's consolidated financial performance. The team provides critical analytical support to executive leaders through financial analysis and visually compelling reporting of the company's consolidated financial results. This role will also coordinate across both business line FP&A and cross functional teams to understand drivers of our financial performance and will have direct interaction with the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage consolidated financial reporting deliverables and communicate financial results to senior leadership
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to complete monthly variance commentary compared to budget/forecast at the consolidated and business unit level
  • Develop standardized dashboards and reports to assess financial performance
  • Effectively communicate, write, and present to various levels of management, including C-suite team
  • Support decision making by turning complex financial results into accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis and presentations
  • Deliver on ad hoc analysis, modeling, and additional responsibilities as required
  • Recognize system inefficiencies and implement effective solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics (or a related quantitative discipline)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, including variance analysis, budget planning, forecasting and development of business analytics
  • Experience building financial models and effectively communicating analysis to support business decision making

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in FP&A, Investor Relations or financial services firm
  • Prior consolidated P&L analysis experience
  • CFA CPA, or Masters of Finance
  • Ability to construct dynamic and robust financial models that are purpose-built and adaptable allowing for quick adjustments
  • Self-motivated and a solid team player ability to work effectively with other parts of Finance and develop a strong consultative relationship throughout the department
