About the position

The Sr Analyst-Digital Brand Advocate at Lowe's will play a crucial role in enhancing the online customer experience on Lowes.com by collaborating with strategic suppliers and Online Merchants. This position is focused on optimizing brand-centric online experiences, which involves building strong business relationships with suppliers to analyze and improve online sales, traffic, and conversion rates. The Sr Analyst will be responsible for identifying and improving various aspects of the online shopping experience, including product assortment, online content, promotions, fulfillment, inventory management, and returns. This role is essential in ensuring that both existing and new promotional items are optimized for online visibility and performance, while also providing support to suppliers for any online or system-related issues they may encounter. In addition to these responsibilities, the Sr Analyst will need to understand customer behavior deeply and develop strategic plans that align with supplier and merchandising partners. This includes leading presentations to gain alignment on planned initiatives and supporting Omni-Channel retail strategies. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying process improvement opportunities that can enhance effectiveness and contribute to brand renewal and growth. The Sr Analyst will analyze key performance indicators to pinpoint opportunities for improving the online experience and driving conversion rates, leveraging customer feedback and competitive data to inform their strategies. The position also involves acting as the subject matter expert for the supported brand(s), serving as the primary point of contact for issues related to online SKU presentation and brand performance. The Sr Analyst will create project plans in collaboration with merchandising and suppliers to ensure successful execution of strategies aimed at improving conversion and basket size through data-driven optimization of cross-sell, up-sell, and bundling strategies. Furthermore, the role includes mentoring less experienced analysts, thereby contributing to the overall development of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve the online experience and drive conversion
  • Leverage inputs from CSAT, reviews, and Q&A to continuously improve the overall customer experience for assigned brand(s)
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the supported brand(s) assortment and strategy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for issues pertaining to online SKU presentation and brand performance
  • Build and lead presentations with suppliers and merchants to support strategic plans and analyze execution
  • Provide accurate reporting and insights across the digital channel related to content, product information, assortment, and competitive gaps/opportunities
  • Effectively improve conversion and basket by leveraging data to optimize cross-sell, up-sell, and bundling strategies
  • Create project plans and align with merchandising and suppliers to drive execution
  • Analyze competitive data to provide SKU and pricing optimization recommendations
  • Utilize knowledge of the shopping funnel and site technologies to optimize the search and browse experience for assigned brand(s)
  • Work closely with content management to optimize premium content for assigned brand(s) and prioritize execution to maximize returns
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced Analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, marketing, finance, statistics or related field
  • 4 - 5 years e-commerce/digital/Retail Merchandising, Digital Marketing or Vendor Management
  • Experience in vendor management systems, digital marketing, ecommerce, and merchandising
  • Proven experience with major consumer brands and how to support/differentiate them in the digital space

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters Degree in Business, marketing, finance, statistics or related field
  • Experience in optimizing flexible fulfillment models with a multi-channel retailer
