About the position

The Sr. Analyst, Workforce Analytics at Comcast is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to develop models that identify trends and inform business strategy. This role involves working cross-functionally to retrieve, analyze, and summarize various data sources, ultimately driving business intelligence and optimizing decision-making processes. The analyst will engage in impact measurement, business process optimization, customer segmentation, and sentiment analysis, contributing to key business decisions and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
  • Determine relevancy of data and identify alternative data sources as needed.
  • Analyze large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Query disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
  • Combine data from disparate sources to complete analysis.
  • Identify key business drivers and insights through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Develop forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other key business metrics.
  • Analyze results of campaigns, offers, or initiatives to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate findings clearly through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to executives.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, and teamwork.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge in data analysis and modeling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of customer sentiment analysis techniques.
