About the position

The position involves leading and maintaining oversight, governance, strategy, direction, and support of critical applications to ensure performance and usability of platforms for stakeholders. The role requires using business knowledge and technical expertise to support the development of information application system plans that align with business strategies. The individual will partner with IT functional and technical teams as well as operational personnel to implement technology solutions, working under minimal supervision and potentially extended hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain oversight, governance, strategy, direction, and support of critical applications ensuring performance and usability of platforms are available for stakeholders.
• Identify appropriate IT solutions and strategies that support business unit strategies and goals.
• Maintain relationship with business and IT partners to build influence and secure buy-in for governance functions.
• Plan, coordinate and document business requirements to drive solutions.
• Maintain and enhance engagement with utility business, IT partners and other stakeholders.
• Provide key liaison partnership role between business and IT.
• Assist IT Architecture and Engineering community to appropriately plan the introduction of new technologies.
• Oversee, coordinate, develop and perform end-to-end test plans and test scenarios tied to Business and Functional Requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and conduct End User Training as appropriate.
• Monitor and support system operation processes and issues and drive resolution with business partners.
• Provide performance input, career development feedback and recognition as required.
• Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel.
• Maintain and share technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function.
• Sponsor and provide sustaining support for collaborative working relationships with counterparts in Exelon.
• Develop and maintain platform performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography/GIS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4-7 years' relevant experience in business process, or 6-9 years relevant professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Broad understanding of business processes.
• Previous experience in developing requirements, business processes, opportunity assessments and/or technical alternatives.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience with Process and data modeling techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience performing SAP CRM&B functional configuration.
• Experience using SAP IS-U tables to extract data and reviewing SAP data files.
• Experience with SAP IS-U meter setup and installation processes.
• Knowledge of utility customer meter reading and billing processes.
• Experience with Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) system integrations.
• Experience with PHI mobile dispatch systems and/or field work processes.
• Experience performing analysis and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Experience performing data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

• Annual salary range: USD $85,600.00/Yr. - USD $128,400.00/Yr.
