About the position

The Sr. IT Architect will provide technical expertise to support the alignment of IT solutions with architectural standards as part of the overall enterprise architecture governance process. This includes defining the different technology building blocks that make up the enterprise and their inter-relationships, as well as the principles guiding their design and evolution over time. The position is hybrid, requiring employees to be in the office at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the architecture governance program for technology projects across the Exelon organization.
- Determine alignment of projects with technical standards and other business requirements.
- Assist the IT Architecture and Engineering community in planning the introduction of new technologies.
- Develop white papers and conduct presentations to explain technology recommendations.
- Build and maintain knowledge of new technologies and assist in analysis for business and IT clients.
- Participate and facilitate peer groups around specific technology areas.
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences or related discipline and 4-7 years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Broad technical expertise in at least one area, such as application development, enterprise applications or IT systems engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology.
- Expert in change management principles associated with new technology implementations.
- Deep understanding of project management principles.

- Strong knowledge of IFS products and solutions - EAM specialization IFS Scope Tool Expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of IFS out of the box modules and IFS Solution Delivery Methodology.
- Azure Cloud Platform Experience.
- Azure Cloud Certification and other relevant certifications.
