About the position

McKesson is seeking a Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Supply Chain Management Team by assisting with analytics, tool development, and reporting, as well as identifying opportunities within the business to gain efficiencies. This position is crucial in providing ad hoc data analysis to answer questions and solve business problems. The role is primarily remote, but candidates should be located within an hour of our Richmond office, as some departmental meetings or additional specialized training may take place in the office. In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including Sales & Operations Planning, Asset Management, and Fulfillment Strategy Teams, to support strategic and long-term projects. You will be responsible for maintaining and delivering established reporting and tools, creating new standard and ad hoc reporting, and providing analytical support by interpreting data and trends. Ensuring data integrity and ongoing quality control of source data and delivered reports will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will develop and maintain standard operating procedures and end-user documentation, and prepare written analyses summarizing results using graphical representations and professional formatting.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales & Operations Planning, Asset Management, and Fulfillment Strategy Teams to support strategic and long-term projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • 2+ years' experience as a Reporting Analyst, Report Writer/Analyst and/or Data Analyst
  • 1+ years' experience in distribution, healthcare or other related industry
  • 6+ months experience with SQL, data extraction methodologies, relational and dimensional databases methods
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel- Pivots, VLOOKUP's, Sum/Ifs)
