Responsibilities

  • Perform integration and/or test of all components, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives.
  • Support system design activities, responsible for test and/or integration of COTS-based electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system.
  • Design, develop and implement integration plans for procedures for hardware, software, and facilities.
  • Ensure physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration.
  • Analyze requirements for testability issues and develop system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance.
  • Conduct system and subsystem pre-operational checks and troubleshooting to component level.
  • Configure/prepares LRUs and subsystem components for single and multi-thread interface and operation.
  • Perform insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies per released engineering and technical specifications.
  • Identify hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and recommend repair/corrective actions.
  • Support EMI/Tempest testing of various airborne subsystems.
  • Conduct aircraft pre-flight activities to ensure system and subsystem flight readiness.
  • Use various test equipment to perform subsystem and system level troubleshooting and test functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 0 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission/communications systems aboard U.S. military airborne and/or ground based platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience using industry standard test equipment and COTS hardware.
  • 4+ years of experience utilizing Windows based programs and COTS software applications.
  • Must currently hold a U.S. DOD Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD TS/SCI.

  • Strong applicable test environment experience.
  • Experience with RC135 platforms.
  • Strong work ethic; maintaining a sense of urgency to ensure obligations are met.
