About the position

Eidos Therapeutics, an affiliate of BridgeBio Pharma, is a commercial stage biopharmaceutical company focused on addressing the large and growing unmet need in diseases caused by transthyretin, or TTR, amyloidosis, or ATTR. We seek to treat this well-defined family of diseases at their collective source by stabilizing TTR. Attruby (acoramdis) is an orally administered small molecule designed to stabilize TTR, a best-in-class treatment aiming to halt the progression of ATTR diseases. BridgeBio is a biopharmaceutical company founded to discover, create, test, and deliver transformative medicines to treat patients who suffer from genetic diseases and cancers with clear genetic drivers. We bridge the gap between remarkable advancements in genetic science in academic institutions and the delivery of meaningful medicines to patients. Founded in 2015, the company has built a portfolio of 30+ drug development programs ranging from preclinical to late-stage development in multiple therapeutic areas including genetic dermatology, precision oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, and renal disease, with two approved drugs. Our focus on scientific excellence and rapid execution aims to translate today's discoveries into tomorrow's medicines. We have U.S. offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Raleigh, with small satellites in other parts of the country. We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead critical elements of the patient brand strategy
  • Provide tactical and strategic input on key planning items across all patient activities
  • Identify patient ambassadors and lead community educational programs
  • Identify opportunities for educational partnerships with advocacy organizations in collaboration with BridgeBio's patient advocacy team
  • Lead the development of branded and unbranded patient promotional tactics
  • Drive execution through the management of external agencies
  • Leverage market research and analytics to optimize promotional marketing tactics
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators, regularly tracking and measuring the success of initiatives and tactics
  • Establish close working relationships with other marketing colleagues to ensure synergies across the brand marketing mix
  • Implement a communication strategy to ensure alignment with cross-functional partners including patient advocacy, patient services and medical affairs
  • Engage externally with patients and caregivers and ensure that the patient voice is reflected across all activities
  • Gain approval for marketing materials through an internal review process, including management reviews and Medical-Legal-Regulatory; secure final production
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Proactively assess the relevant market landscape, monitor changes in market dynamics, competition and patient needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience, including 2 years in pharmaceutical marketing
  • The role is based in San Francisco, CA, and the ability to spend time working with teams in our San Francisco office is a must
  • Prior patient marketing experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated record of successful pharmaceutical/biotech marketing progression/experience
  • Ability to distill complex science into simple relevant messaging for patient audiences
  • Experience leading educational programs for HCP or patient audiences
  • A passion for advocating for patients and health equity
  • Ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional marketing plans
  • Proven self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team across multiple projects
  • Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
