The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in this mission by providing data-driven insights and analytical support to solve strategic and operational problems. This position is not just about data; it involves working directly with business users to understand their needs and translating those into actionable recommendations that will influence business decisions. The analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining a Power BI report repository, ensuring data accuracy and validity, and providing end-user training to facilitate adoption of these tools. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to partner with various teams, including Commercial, Finance, and Operations, to identify strategic objectives. The analyst will create unique operational reports and dashboards that track execution success and develop scalable, automated dashboards to benchmark progress against key performance goals. This involves creating composite Power BI data models from multiple data sources, such as SQL Server, CRM Dynamics, Salesforce, and Excel, while maintaining row-level security and understanding application security layer models in Power BI. In addition to technical skills, the analyst must be able to map business processes to data structures, maintain report documentation, and understand data elements in the data warehouse to support user needs ranging from research to ad hoc queries. The role also includes analyzing existing processes and database models to recommend potential improvements, supporting business functions with ad hoc requests, and managing Power dataset deployment. The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst is expected to uphold Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, ensuring that all business is conducted in a compliant manner. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
