The position involves solving technical problems that support Manufacturing and Production. The candidate will manage technical projects to completion, which may include plating processes, corrective actions, new product launches, machine repairs, lean activities, and designing tooling as required. Additionally, the role requires the development of plating processes and training applicable personnel on plating concepts and processes. Safety is a priority, and the candidate will be responsible for developing safety procedures for workers operating equipment or working near ongoing chemical reactions. Troubleshooting problems with chemical and plating manufacturing processes is also a key responsibility. The candidate will evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Performing tests and monitoring the performance of processes, designing and planning the layout of equipment, and developing and maintaining plating production costs are also essential functions of the job. Attendance at work is considered an essential function of the job.
