The Sr. Cloud Developer position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies, particularly AWS. This role requires an expert in AWS, holding relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging their extensive knowledge in cloud-native development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture, specifically using frameworks like Springboot and Quarkus. In this position, the Sr. Cloud Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient cloud solutions. The role demands a deep understanding of Java/J2EE, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js, along with proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle. The candidate will also be expected to have hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle to streamline development processes. Additionally, the Sr. Cloud Developer will engage in application migration to the cloud, ensuring that existing applications are transitioned smoothly and efficiently. Familiarity with API Management Platforms, particularly AWS API Gateway, is essential, as is experience with automation and testing tools like Postman, Mockito, JUnit, and SonarQube. The candidate should also have knowledge of containerization technologies and managed container orchestrators, such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, particularly in the context of AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service and Red Hat OpenShift. Knowledge of messaging solutions like ActiveMQ or Kafka will be considered a valuable asset.
