About the position

The Copywriter position at Fetch focuses on creating engaging and informative content that enhances consumer experiences with the app and brand. The role involves writing clear and impactful copy across various communication channels, understanding target audiences, and contributing to brand and campaign concepts. The Copywriter will collaborate with the creative team to ensure consistency in voice and tone while refreshing existing content and generating new material.

Responsibilities

  • Create smart, delightful, and informative content for consumers.
  • Write clear, impactful copy for emails, in-app messaging, scripts, push messages, and web content.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and their motivations.
  • Contribute to brand and campaign-level concepting.
  • Master and uphold Fetch's voice and tone while evolving it.
  • Refresh existing work and generate new, original content.
  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Present work and provide rationale for creative decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience.
  • Strong vocabulary and understanding of grammar, with the ability to bend rules when necessary.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • A belief in the power of collaboration.
  • Ability to transform insights and strategy into excellent creative output.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
  • Familiarity with digital asset management and workflow management programs.
