About The Position

The Sr. Data Analyst for TechOps Integrated Operations Planning at Delta Air Lines plays a crucial role in supporting the alignment of strategic plans across operations. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings
  • Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, R, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or another relevant quantitative field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes planning and historical performance data from a variety of sources
  • Develops meaningful KPIs to provide visibility to operations' supply and demand outlook across time horizons
  • Designs compelling charts and slides that support the required knowledge for business decisions
  • Develops effective relationships with TechOps business units, OAP, and other planning divisions
  • Works with visualization tools like Power BI to provide interactive dashboards essential for business units to make decisions around their short-term and long-term planning
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis to pressure-test assumptions incorporated into resource planning
  • Is willing to learn new tools and be able to adapt and excel them
  • Is able to handle multiple analytical tasks with competing priorities
  • Has a team first attitude with the success of our team, business partners, and the enterprise as their top priority
  • Actions independently with limited management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates, or stakeholders
  • Enjoys working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity, and aggressive deadlines
