Sr. DevOps Engineer

About the position

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in supporting a high-performance Agile team focused on delivering innovative healthcare digital products. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable, standardized, and efficient deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a high-performance Agile team to deliver healthcare digital products with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Ensure consistent and standardized deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Enterprise Computing teams to manage and optimize public and private cloud deployments.
• Establish and maintain architectural standards for DevOps practices, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Guide the implementation of best practices in automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure-as-code to enhance reliability and streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and operational issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud-based environments (public and private).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure and Enterprise Computing groups.
• Experience establishing architectural standards and driving best practices in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
