About the position

We are looking for an DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our world-class engineering team building the next generation talent measurement product. We're looking for passionate, creative engineers who are excited about solving new problems. As a DevSecOps engineer at Talview you are responsible for building, deploying and testing pipelines, automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure support services such as monitoring. There are a lot of moving pieces to fit together in a modern complex microservices platform stack, communication is essential, being cognizant of performance bottlenecks and scaling pitfalls are and proactively solving for problems before they emerge is a vital dimension to the role. Responsibilities

  • Building, deploying and testing pipelines
  • Automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure
  • Infrastructure support services such as monitoring

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working with IaaS and PaaS cloud (AWS, Azure, GCE)
  • Infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform)
  • Scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Perl)
  • Proficiency in building Linux and/or FreeBSD systems (Debian, CentOS, Alpine etc.)
  • Experience with continuous integration and Continuous Deployment tools (Github Actions, ArgoCD)
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and Orchestration tooling
  • Experience with log parsing and analytics, monitoring (Loki, Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty)

Nice-to-haves

  • An active Stack Overflow and GitHub profile
  • Any open-source code or example projects that you're proud of
  • Experience in managing SaaS products with an engaged user base and scale
  • Experience with real time systems
  • Any other evidence of your passion for building and managing infrastructure
