We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help drive the future of our Control-M product, a leading workload automation solution. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in advancing the infrastructure that powers Control-M, optimizing its performance and ensuring its scalability in the SaaS ecosystem. As part of our dynamic, globally distributed DevOps team, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and overall impact of Control-M for our customers. Responsibilities

  • Support and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Python for automation, ensuring the seamless provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of cloud resources.
  • Leverage Jenkins extensively as the primary CI/CD tool for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and continuous integration and delivery.
  • Deploy and manage Microservices in a Kubernetes environment using Helm for package management and Kubectl for operational control, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications in production.
  • Monitor and support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and work to improve the overall system stability, performance, and uptime.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse team of professional DevOps Engineers to drive continuous improvements in automation, infrastructure management, and system reliability.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as application development, QA, and SRE to implement new features, ensure proper system integration, and maintain high operational standards.
  • Drive best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management, leveraging advanced technologies to solve complex technical challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of DevOps experience with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing systems, with a focus on continuous improvement, scaling infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters at scale; optimize networking, access control, and security; troubleshoot issues in cloud environments (EKS).
  • Advanced skills in infrastructure as code (IaC), writing reusable Terraform modules, managing cloud resources (e.g., EC2, S3) and provisioning infrastructure with consistency.
  • SaaS architecture expertise in AWS: Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
  • Skilled in writing, debugging, and optimizing Python scripts for automation, infrastructure management, and API interaction.
  • Expertise in containerizing applications, creating optimized Dockerfiles, managing container images, and using Docker Compose for multi-container apps.
  • Proficient in managing Kubernetes applications with Helm charts, creating custom charts, and automating deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying code, integrating Jenkins with Docker and Kubernetes for automation.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP requirements and security controls, ensuring systems meet regulatory standards for data security and privacy.
  • Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, with a focus on long-term fixes and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working with Infrastructure as Code for AWS, including tools like CloudFormation.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with operational and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Contributing throughout the entire development lifecycle—from design to production.
