About the position

The Senior Director of Portfolio Management at Ontada, a part of McKesson Corporation, is a leadership role focused on overseeing the planning, financial modeling, and execution of the technology portfolio aimed at transforming cancer care. This position is pivotal in aligning organizational strategies with actionable plans, managing relationships with stakeholders, and driving project management excellence within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate organizational vision and strategy into actionable plans
  • Lead and direct Agile planning and execution teams to deliver project deliverables on time
  • Partner with Finance to ensure project financial reporting and forecasting align with organizational budgets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring delivery leadership representation
  • Facilitate PMO negotiations across functions to resolve project conflicts and competing priorities
  • Influence executive leadership to align around portfolio business objectives and measurable benefits
  • Review and improve Agile and project management processes, communicating changes to senior leadership
  • Drive financial discipline and industry best practices for demand and capacity management
  • Manage relationships with strategic vendors, negotiate pricing, and drive performance metrics

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • 13+ years of professional experience
  • 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills
  • 10+ years of experience in technology, strategic planning, and business planning
  • 10+ years of experience leading a project management office
  • 7+ years of experience working in Agile Methodologies
  • 7+ years of experience as a project manager and/or program manager
  • 7+ years of experience as a people leader
  • 5+ years of experience with change management and technology executive reporting
  • 5+ years of experience with forecast/budgeting
  • Experience in agile Product Management and Product delivery
  • Healthcare environment experience is a plus
  • Life Science experience is preferred
  • Vendor management experience is beneficial
