This Sr Financial Analyst position on the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team will work closely with various stakeholders including Accounting, Finance, and Financial systems teams to solve complex problems that directly impacts Amazon's internal and external financial reporting. The successful candidate will be able to interpret financial results, and implement mechanisms for new reporting insights at scale. Additionally, this team member will own several reporting functions for close, planning, and reporting cycles.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing financial reporting
• Own corporate finance reporting definitions and ensure uses of those definitions are being used consistently across the finance organization.
• Serve as a liaison between accounting and system teams to drive accurate close.
• MEC, QEC and prepare financial schedules.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing and implementing controls or experience performing audits over financial reporting environment
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
• Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse
• Experience working with stakeholders
