About the position

The Sr. Financial Analyst at CoreLogic will play a crucial role within the Finance team, focusing on financial forecasting, reporting, and planning processes. This position involves compiling and supporting executive presentations, collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate financial data submission, and providing insights that aid executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage their critical thinking skills to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Compile and provide financial and non-financial information to support executive leaders, including presentations or supplemental material.
• Support the Finance executive team with ad hoc reporting requests and special projects, including acquisitions and profitability analysis.
• Partner across operational, finance, and shared service teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial information.
• Develop analytical tools and methodologies, including spreadsheet-based reports and analysis.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence organizational goals and effectively present financial results.
• Superior critical thinking skills to identify trends within raw data.
• Proven track record of developing analytical tools and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills and experience in process simplification and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including business and financial modeling.
• Ability to research and analyze data, converting it into business insights.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.
