About the position

The position involves providing daily human resources support to assist employees and the Human Resources team in delivering a full spectrum of HR services. This includes recruitment, payroll, onboarding/off-boarding, employee transactions, and other related areas. The role serves as a resource for employees, answering HR questions and processing employee information while handling highly confidential material. The work is completed with a limited degree of supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR administrative support including maintenance of employee files, updating HR databases, scheduling interviews, processing new hires, preparing onboarding documents, assisting with payroll, handling benefit inquiries, and updating resource documents.
  • Support payroll processes by assisting with tasks such as tracking, auditing, and ensuring accurate transactions, working collaboratively with the payroll administrator.
  • Assist in conducting month-end reporting for cross-functional departments and provide ad-hoc reporting support as needed, leveraging multiple HR systems to organize and summarize people data.
  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including conducting orientation and ensuring paperwork is complete.
  • Actively support and engage in company-wide initiatives such as DEI, Value Integrity, and Volunteerism, and support employee engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction and morale.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships by providing best-in-class HR support and exceptional customer service to employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries with clarity and care, resolving them directly or equipping HR leaders with the necessary information.
  • Serve as a culture steward by upholding and promoting company values and ensuring alignment in all HR activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools, including PowerBI, ADP Reports, and others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with payroll processing and reporting.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of legal precedents and HR policies.
