About the position

The Sr. Instructional Designer at The Judge Group Inc. is responsible for conducting comprehensive job-task analyses and needs assessments to develop effective training solutions. This remote position involves collaborating with subject matter experts to design and implement training curricula, utilizing advanced e-Learning applications to create interactive learning experiences. The role emphasizes the application of instructional design and adult learning theories to enhance employee performance through tailored training programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-depth job-task analysis and/or needs assessment to identify learning objectives and determine training solutions.
• Consults with team members to develop individual training program goals, overall program objectives, and module objectives.
• Applies knowledge of instructional design theory to create new training programs from scratch with some managerial guidance.
• Identifies appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles and course content.
• Works with e-Learning specialists to develop sophisticated e-Learning programs and applications.
• Researches, selects, and modifies existing training curriculum and materials to meet learning needs.
• Reviews program evaluations and feedback to recommend improvements for training effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proficient in Articulate 360.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in, or applicable knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Prior experience in, or applicable knowledge of Underwriting.
